Privacy
What this site collects, who it goes to, and what you can ask us to do about it. Short version: no cookies, no advertising, no profiling, and no account to create.
Who is responsible
Exclaim Robotics GmbH, Josefstrasse 178a, 8005 Zürich, Switzerland (CHE-279.576.904). Contact: contact@exclaimrobotics.com. Full details are in the imprint.
This policy covers the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies to visitors in the EU and UK, the GDPR.
Hosting
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., United States). Like any web server, it records requests, including your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user-agent string. We do not control the retention of these logs and do not use them for analysis.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics (Plausible Insights OÜ, Estonia), which runs on EU infrastructure. Plausible sets no cookies, stores no personal data, and does not track visitors across sites or over time. It counts page views and referring sites in aggregate. Because no personal data is stored and nothing is written to your device, this needs no consent banner — which is why we chose it.
Fonts
Typefaces are requested from Google Fonts (Google LLC), which means your IP address is transmitted to Google when a page loads. No cookie is set and nothing is stored on your device.
Job applications
Our open roles are shown on the careers page through an embedded job board provided by Ashby (Ashby, Inc., United States). The embed loads from Ashby's servers, so opening that page transmits your IP address to them.
If you apply, everything you enter goes to Ashby and is processed by them on our behalf so that we can consider your application. That typically includes your name, email address, phone number, CV, work authorisation status, and your answers to our questions. We use it to assess applications and to contact you about them, and for nothing else. We do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising. Ashby's own privacy notice governs their handling: ashbyhq.com/privacy.
We keep applications for 12 months after a decision, so that we can come back to you if a suitable role opens. Ask us and we will delete yours sooner.
If you email us, we keep the message and your address so we can reply and keep track of the conversation. Our email runs on Google Workspace.
Transfers outside Switzerland and the EU
GitHub, Ashby, Google, and their sub-processors are based in the United States, so some of the above involves transferring data there. Those transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, ask for a copy in a portable format, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to contact@exclaimrobotics.com and we will answer.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or to your national supervisory authority if you are in the EU or UK.
Changes
We will update this page when what we do changes. Last updated 3 August 2026.
